Covid-19 …a neverending tale of anger & frustration

There’s a question everyone keeps hearing every single day …at one time or another, somewhere, whether on TV or Radio, Internet or Newspapers, or in-person with other people. …how many times do you say It, hear it, read it, or think about it? You’ve heard it!?!? When the hell will this pandemic, end?

While people keep thinking when will all this end …how many have tried to figure out why is it still here? Or, how are we going to get rid of it?

What most people do not understand is; all Viruses are constantly mutating! …they’re always changing…and the more they mutate, the more forms of variants & strains, they become!

It’s all about the Human Cell! For a more scientific explanation, there are very good medical books out there to read. This is a quicker layman’s explanation, and a simpler way to understand it; Everyone has RNA (ribonucleic acid) & DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid), which are hereditary materials in the human body and in all living organisms. Viruses are microorganisms that can only live by attaching themselves to your cells, usually the lungs, the liver, and the blood …then spreading their RNA throughout your body and gather your DNA’s & RNA’s genetic information and the immunity system’s …and then, usually attacks that organ or other organs.

There are quite a few different viruses in the Corona family. In this case, it started with a virus known as SARS-CoV-2 …the virus that spawned off into the novel COVID-19 virus, which, has since mutated into a Delta variant and a Mu variant …so far! And there’s a good chance of further mutations as long as people keep disregarding this virus by remaining unvaccinated and fighting mask regulations!

Why all the uproar with Covid? Vaccination mandates started with George Washington…mandating his troops to get vaccinated against smallpox. The first school mandates requiring vaccinations for kids started in the 1850s. Everyone who has attended school since then has been vaccinated …it’s been a requirement in all 50 States for both, childcare and kids entering school for the first time, ever since.

You should know all of them by now … the DTaP (Diphtheria, Tetanus, & Pertussis) Vaccine, the Polio Vaccine, the Varicella Vaccine, MMR (Mumps, Measles, & Rubella) Vaccine, Hib (Haemophilus Influenzae type B) Vaccine, & the yearly Influenza (Flu) Vaccine. That’s 6 vaccines that cover 10 viruses, that everyone who ever went to school has taken …since the age of 6yrs old. That’s six out of around 16 you will have throughout your life! If you join the armed forces, you’re mandated and required to get 17 different vaccines …usually, all in one day!

So what’s the big deal of adding a Covid vaccine? …it’s just one more! It’s not just for your safety, it’s for the safety of your community, for the safety of your family, and most important …the safety of your child!

Unfortunately, COVID-19 has become politicized by people who are more interested in their own greed …whether for monetary reasons or political ambition …and weaponized as a tool to gain their objective.

Covid-19 has been weaponized to the hilt …with a GOP policy of projection and strict disinformation, mixed with lunatic conspiracy theories and blatant lies 24/7 …obfuscating doubt and converting it all into anger for their already frustrated constituency …passing as much disinformation as possible to all those ignorant enough to believe them, who don’t understand what this medical problem is all about.

People raging wild accusations at each other, verbally and even physically fighting with each other because mask mandates! Blatantly refusing vaccinations using every excuse in the world …from religious objections to constitutional rights to political stupidity, and totally absurd reasons, from vaccines having a secret chip embedded to track you, to a vaccine carrying extraterrestrial alien demon sperms.

Now, school board meltdowns with people fighting school boards about mask mandates for their children! Literally refusing for their children to wear a mask and stay safe …which at any other time, would be considered child abuse! And if that’s not enough, gangs of Proud Boys are running around everywhere stalking doctors, nurses, resp. therapists, and other medical personnel outside hospitals and outside their homes, shouting obscenities and threatening them to stop treating their Coronavirus patients…” we know who you are, we know where you live”.

You also have Governors in red states, mostly by Florida’s Governor …demanding to end mandates, especially in schools …including sending children who are asymptomatic to schools without masks. Now, he wants to eliminate the mandates for Measles, Mumps, & Rubella, too! In Florida, under its GOP administration, more deaths have occurred in 1yr from Covid than all the American deaths in Vietnam’s 10yrs. They account for among the highest rate of deaths in the nation, and the highest rate of children hospitalized in the United States!

Meanwhile, the Lone Star State is trying to emulate the Sunshine State with cases soaring out of control. Mississippi is no different with cases per capita, among the highest in the country. And in the middle of all this happening, most hospitals around the country are reaching their limits …occupancy rates are at a premium (you’ll have to really be sick if there’s a need for a room …or even just a bed). And especially in ICUs, where bed space is at its peak …and the ER's triage systems that are reaching catastrophic proportions.

It’s reaching a point where hospitals around the country are seriously preparing to implement “Crisis Care” standards …Alaska just became the 1st to implement them!

What’s “Crisis Care”? From car accidents to shootings, and from heart attacks to all other major medical emergencies …if things don’t get under control …there’s going to be no room at the Inn. Covid is naturally, 1st priority …and they’re just simply overwhelmed with it …that means; you’re on your own! Living or dying without the medical help and need of a hospital, may become a matter of fate.

How many people have to get infected? and how many people have to die? before unvaccinated people wake up and realize how wrong they are? At least 99% of them, admit how wrong they were …while they’re in the hospital, fighting for their lives. Right now, 99.5% of all Covid cases that end up on mechanical ventilators and die are unvaccinated.

America’s fascination with rank #1, always had a good feeling about it …these days, is mostly a really sad feeling. Currently, the United States has 42.5+ million infected people and 680+ thousand deaths. That's more deaths than WWI, WWII, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War, combined!

If you want to make it, political? An interesting fact from Neil deGrasse Tyson, who recently pointed out that every 10 days, 8,000 unvaccinated Republicans die from Covid …which is 5x more than the Democrats’ deaths!

We’re surpassing the 1918–1921 Spanish Influenza deaths of 650,000 -750,000 …and we’re a far more advanced nation today than we were over 100 years ago …both medically & technologically, and in just plain general knowledge since 1918 …that’s totally unacceptable and embarrassing! Medicine and Medical Science shouldn’t take the blame …that blame is solely the responsibility of the bureaucracy that disseminates from business and politics.

Fact: As long as people remain unvaccinated and remain unmasked, this pandemic will not end! The more people remaining unmasked, not vaccinated, and partying to their heart’s content in the beaches, at football stadiums, in large gatherings at parks…continuously kissing, rubbing, and touching each other …the virus will continue to mutate, and the more mutations that go around, make it more difficult to control the virus!

Waiting to reach herd immunity? First, you’ll need at least 75% — 85% of the population, vaccinated …and to reach those percentages, you have to tackle with 25% of the country that rather die than get vaccinated! Reaching herd immunity will probably immune you from the original Covid-19 and maybe a variant …but, how about the other variants? The Covid virus is not like the Influenza (Flu) virus …they’re both respiratory illnesses, and both can kill …but, they’re both totally & completely different types of viruses. Covid is way, way far more lethal than your seasonal flu!

Coming out with a vaccine that’ll cure all the variants has medical scientists going bonkers since it’s all mutating so rapidly. Nothing will change till everything is under control …till then, this pandemic, in one form or another will continue to spread!

Don’t ask how long it’ll take for all this to go away …do something about it if you want to get rid of it!

It may be frustrating to many …getting vaccinated and wearing masks …but there are not that many options. it’s better than eventually catching Covid and ending up in a black body bag!

It’s just plain common sense to do what’s right! Wearing a mask is not just to protect yourself, but a respectful way of protecting others. Yes! You have the freedom not to get vaccinated, and the freedom not to wear a mask …but you definitely do not have the freedom to infect others because of your negligence!

Do what’s morally right! Do your part in fighting this pandemic …stop listening to politicians, their proxies, and especially all those crazy conspiracy theorists, and start listening to the medical professionals who do care and know what they’re doing …get vaccinated and wear a mask …if, you ever do want to return to your normal!

So, when will all this be over, you say? It’s all really up to you!
